Men Who Give of Branch County
Join a group of local men who are passionate and motivated to make a positive impact in their communities. The members come from diverse backgrounds and financial situations. Working together, we can strengthen and improve our communities in ways that were never imagined possible. Additionally, it is important to recognize that it can be difficult to make a significant impact alone.
What is our Mission?
Men Who Give is a collective giving group of like-minded men who want to work together to make a difference right here in Branch County. Our goal is to find 100 men who are willing to work together to raise funds for deserving organizations and community projects.
Groups for consideration for this next Quarter are:
Branch Area Food Pantry
Here’s how it works.
Before each meeting (nominations due the first day of the month of the meeting), members nominate organizations or projects located here in Branch County. When all nominations are received, the Leadership Council meets and conducts a random drawing to select 3 organizations/projects. A representative from each organization is contacted to conduct a brief 5-minute presentation at the meeting about their organization. Men Who Give members then have 10 minutes to ask questions. After all 3 organizations have presented, the members vote by secret ballot to determine which organization will be awarded the funds. Each member commits to donating $100 each meeting, writing a check directly to the chosen organization. We will only help non-profit 501c3 organizations at this time. Each organization will provide a personal receipt for your donation. Your check is made out directly to the organization after the results of the vote are announced and the selected organization takes the money with them when they leave.
